    Dry July

“ Self Improvement “ in February, in summer??? Sounds like a downhill movement if you ask me 😀 I think people do the February as it’s only 28 days but a couple of days extra in winter is more the go. Beer in the shower, great stuff. You could set the Beerflo in there.
  3. Side by side will be a good evaluation.
  4. I bet you are, today is it, dry July ☀️Is nearly done for you. Stocks should be healthy.
  5. In the droid again today, I’m going to dry hop the Amarillo early at day 5. I’m testing if an early dry hop supports earlier consumption due to early infusion. By earlier consumption, 4 weeks test.
  6. Correct me if I’m wrong but just looked up a PicoBrew recipe and it would seem all the info is there? Grain type & weight, the adjunct ingredients and temp settings etc. Worth a go gentlemen?
  7. Now that’s a pair of trouble makers...😂. Don’t have any experience with the Pico however can’t see any reason why you can’t produce your own wort. Are there Pico recipes to follow, utube help etc. Cheers Mark
  8. Take a sip when you bottle to see how it develops.
  9. Go ahead with it as this is what’s brewing is about, your comments on the result help all.
  10. Brewed this one over 5 times now, just cracked the keg after nearly 6 weeks maturing. A blood nice drop. Someone else must have brewed it?? Just looking for other opinions.
  11. Will be interesting in how this turns out, 60g of hops for 10l I think will be the key to either a great ale or an over hopped ale. You have to try and in fairness that amount of hops is not unusual in many recipes.
  12. Questions in need of answer:- how long have you been in Pt Hedland? how long your staying? why not a few up there with you? should I mind my own business?🤐😂
  13. Bloody hell, goods arrived (Adelaide) yesterday (25/7) with tracking stating still going via Melbourne. Well done Australia Post. Ps big order and again brilliantly packed by BrewArt Team.
  14. Don’t envy either. Rob you’ll now have to pay for it by the difference in your homebrew and equivalent purchased beer. So get drinking! And what an excuse for your “racing driver” wife to be given. 😂🍻🍻🍻
  15. Does the curved glass straighten when you’re had a few? 🤪😜
  16. No that’s a collection? Your favour 3?
  17. Great, I think it’s a good interesting subject, plus the bragging that comes with it 😂, “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours”
  18. German style very suitable for pilsners and European style lagers. Where the beer line is, 0.5l is embossed on the side of the glass.
  19. I thought I’d start this so we can show the different types of glasses we may use in our pursuit of never ending beer enjoyment.
  20. Hi again Gustavo. Sorry but bulk priming using the liquid primers is not recommended and is confirmed by the BrewArt Tech. (he suggests using the sachets for making cocktails). However you can use dextrose or plain white sugar for each bottle. There is an article here under the main thread heading - “BrewPrint Customisation” titled “Using Dextrose”. This should help you out however get back if stuck. Cheers Mark
  21. Cracked this one yesterday after 7+ weeks maturing. I must say an excellent drop, bitter/sweet finish well supported by the Czech Saaz hops. From Rob’s comments I’d say the hop pellets made a difference to using the liquid hop sachets. Probably 2 litres left as at Friday night, so good put it in the Droid today.

  23. Yes it should firm up. As only 4 days into fermentation not all the sugars will have been converted by the yeast therefore cloudiness and watery, no body to it yet.
  24. Order placed, $30 discount gives me, well free delivery plus $15 deduction. Love it.
  25. No problems with that. (have to take a sample if doing a hydrometer check). As you said sanitise the tap after an all will be ok. Cheers, Mark
