  1. Flat beer from brew flow

Hi and happy Australia day everyone. I have brewed a few kegs now and have found them to be flat when using the brew flow. I bottled a batch and the carbonation was awsome. I feel the brew flow a waste if I am going to get better beer when bottling . Would it help to add carbonation drops to the keg as well as the sucrose?
  2. BeerDroid and BrewFlo for sale (18 mths old) $900 for the lot I regrettably don't have the time anymore to run the brews anymore. Changed family circumstances. I brewed two pale ales that both turned out really well. Prefer to sell as a package but for the right offer I'll split the items. Can freight domestically but the postage isn't included in the purchase price. Otherwise, pickup in North Coburg. All items: - 1 x BeerDroid with damaged spigot - 1 x BrewFlow plus drip tray- 1 x brew print for US pale ale (sachets: 2 x E5, 1 x E2, 2 x X1, 2 x H1, 2 x P, 1 x Y1)- 1 x kegging kit (2 x 5L kegs stands, 2 x keg liners, 1 x draining line, 1 x draining cap, 2 x elbows, 5 x sanitiser tabs)
  3. pouring just foam beer????

Pouring in Glass just head ??? on secand key
  4. All Head from pour

My batch of weissbier from the keg is all head. Preivous couple of kegs were also quite heady but not this bad. the beer line is also full of bubbles. I am guessing the secondary fermentation temp was too high and that the kegs are very sensitive to storage temp. Any thoughts?
  5. Possible Liner Fail

So I just had my first ever keg fail. Had my Aztec Cerveza sitting in the fridge for a week or more after conditioning then transferred to the BrewFlo. Hook everything up and pull the handle to dispense goodness. All I got was air, air, and more air with a slight amount of froth. After about 5 mins I got a glass of froth that eventually settled to beer (with a big head). Had a taste and decided that I have invented a new sort of beer that would appeal to some sort of alien invader. Hard to describe the taste but "yeasty" and "disgusting" covers it. I suspect there is a problem with the liner and have emailed Brewart support. Ended up tipping the beer out and throwing the keg liner away, there was no way it was recoverable. Bit of a shame as I have brewed the Aztec Cerveza before and my wife is quite keen on it.
  6. Just tried drinking straight from the BrewFlo tap like Barney Gumble and it was so good! Just wondering if anyone else had tried doing this?
  7. Best Pouring Beer

Which beer(s) has poured best for you from the Brewflo and did you use a caddy when kegging? If you read everything on this forum, you will know I am struggling to get satisfactory results from my Brewflo. So I am in search of the most forgiving/successful/reliable Brewprint and the method of filling that was used. In about a month I will pick up on the best option and hopefully be on my way to enjoying a pleasing result.
  8. Four Leaf

I've never ever had stout in my life. So the opportunity to brew my own was a leap of faith. but it tastes as good as it looks. Very happy.
  9. Tap fonts

G'day peeps, just wondering if anyone has managed to changed the top of their font yet.

  12. Check out that head!

This photo was taken from one of my first brews. Was playing around with glass styles. If I recall this was an American Pale Ale, so Ale glass on the left was the winner!
