Like it's definitely "traditional English ale" which means it's something a bit different to normal Aus pub fare, and it's certainly not offensive, but it's not got the pizzaz I was expecting. I guess because it's my first one with no D or H addition. Gotta say despite the fact it sounds like I don't like it, I feel like I could very happily drink litres of it! Party beer for sure. Ah well I'll give it a couple more weeks. It is a very easy to drink beer

I think you will enjoy it more after a few. I think that’s the point of this beer, a down to earth Draught beer without the necessity to add flavour etc by dry hopping. Mind you, like the Coopers Pale Ale it could be a good base for a few hop experiments.

Captain 3 Droids
A sampler bottle I found, 21/12/21. Good carbonation, good head. Quite bitter than keg earlier drinks but typical of the style.

Captain 3 Droids
In the Droid today, don’t have a keg of this. How could that happen?
Rob Courtney
First time i have drunk this one in a couple of years...why did I leave this so long?
Rob Courtney
Six weeks in and I must remember for next year that I really like this as a winter beer ( I mean don't mind it in summer either). Just a nice, simple beer that you can have a few of because of the 4.5%. I did do an experiment chucking an X5 in this early days....can confirm that is a poor choice

Captain 3 Droids
In the Droid today for the 27th time. Love it’s simplicity and easy drinking. A break away from the dry hop additions. A quality front bar draught.
Rob Courtney
Last bottles tonight, I reckon these go best in a headmaster pint glass

Esquibeerman
First look at the English Pub Draught after 2 weeks in a PET 750ml bottle. It's on its way, will certainly finish it, but needs 6 more weeks. Probably too cardonated as well at only 2 weeks, if that's a thing?
Rob Courtney
Think it is such a good draught, really easy drinking, found it was really good from about 5 weeks onwards
