Nearly 6 weeks in the keg. This is a strong finishing pale ale with hops and citrus to the palate. If you enjoy bitter ales then this will suit. Flavour is strong in the malt, citrus and fruitiness department. An enjoyable ale.

5 weeks in, very refreshing.

Now as an aside Rob has a “mystery box” where he stores various bottles of brews and has a surprise on opening. Well today I thought the keg that I cracked was English Bitter but alas it was Lord’s English Pale Ale. Label your kegs properly I say.

I don't know if you have tried before but I was a real fan of beers like Fullers ESB and a couple of other English "ales" and I am wondering were this one sits, it is one of the "I  will try next order" ales, it is something I thought of getting just because of Fullers ESB

Haven’t tried a Fullers ESB but may buy one as the taste profile on the web suggests something similar I’ve tasted here. I enjoy the English ales of Brewprint, Midlands, Lord’s English PA, English Pub Draught, London’s Own Ale etc.

Yeah, Fullers had everything going against it but I liked the look of the bottle, hadn't heard of it so thought "grab a few, what could go wrong?"
