Well Its been 3 months since I brewed the Sparkling Ale and I have sampled about 7 bottles along the way. This week I purchased some 440ml cans for a side by side trial....my thoughts are as follows:-

• No Home Brew twang from Beerdroid brew.
• Head retention not as good as the packaged beer.
• Fell short of the real stuff but only minor.
• I could taste a Marzipan flavour.
• It was about 80 to 90% like Coopers Sparkling Ale.
• All up it wasn't a bad drop and I look forward to the remaining brews.

Had one of these delightful beers yesterday at 6 weeks, and It just keeps getting better. When I bottled it, I upped the primer about 20%, looking to help this sparkling ale really sparkle, and I'm not disappointed at all. I hope I can control myself long enough to enjoy it when the temperature starts to really climb in a few months!
