Willy Weizenbier
Hi, Just wondering if there's anywhere I can find out the fermentation times for Brewprints? Can't seem to find anything in the search. I understand fermentation times can very a bit, but from a scheduling point of view it would be good to know if which Brewprints take 5-7 days to ferment, and which ones might take 2 weeks. Specifically interested in fermentation times for German Weissbier, Traditional Irish Stout, Low Carb Dry Lager & Coopers Pale Ale? Cheers.

No real hard and fast rule as sometimes the yeast may not be as active for many reasons. In saying that most beers get there in about 7 days of brewing, ales might be a day earlier but yeah. I haven't done the low carb lager but the others all seem to come in at day 6. As a rule of thumb though, with lagers (mainly) they will ramp the temp up to help the yeast to become a bit more active to mop up the sugars, when the droid ramps the temp, it's 3 days until end of fermentation 1 1

As Rob said these are just estimates, and they can be pretty wide ranges too. There's also a few spreadsheets floating around (the most popular one is called the "Shem Sheet" because a guy on the Facebook group called Shem made it) which has all the info for the brews, including those estimates, in a sortable spreadsheet. I don't know if there's an up-to-date version though. 1
