Clearing Up After Fermentation

Recommended Posts

Your fermentation has just finished and was set for an ale at 17C. Storage will automatically put it at 18C. It’s not a bad idea to increase the storage temperature 2 to 3 degrees for a few days as this will help the yeast to “clear up” your brew. Drop temperature back down to kegging/bottling for a day or so to allow sediment to settle. This process does improve the outcome and produces a clearer brew.
