Connecting Keg Liner Cap to Keg Liner

My first brew is ready to keg and I've been going mad for over an hour just trying to screw the keg liner cap onto the keg liner.  It will not screw down.  Have others had this issue?

Brian is the cap trying to “cross thread”? Does the thread on the liner look like that in the video? When the cap is on I believe there is a gap and a need to check for evenness.

I’m not clear on what you mean by cross thread but I’ve tried three different caps and three different liners and me, my wife and my daughter can not screw the liners onto the caps.  Seems to be a fundamental design flaw.   I’ve given up on kegging for today.  Thanks for the response but the liner will not screw down at all.   If I apply force I can sort of get it on partially at an angle which is not right.  It is as if the threads between two parts are not compatible.

I’ll tag this to the Liam at BrewArt Tech.
