Finally cracked the dregs bottle as the first sampler a couple weeks ago, it has changed substantially in the time it's been maturing.  My cousin was over so we split the bottle, wow really great beer.  The cousin said that it's about the best beer he's had.

I should say I did modify the pack, added a little lactose as well as some maltodextrin, i could have added more of both really, but more so the latter.  Got the keg cooling down now as well as force-carbing .  Looking forward to having some more of this!

For those that don't like dark beers, neither do i, it's dark but none of the typical flavors you get with other dark beers, it' heavier alc% but drinks like a lager.

Putting this on the must make again list!
