Sam Armstrong
Stupid question perhaps (and based on the number of people on here who use them I would guess not) but is there any chance a hop bomb(s) would scratch the internal droid lining? No, I used one for a long time and had no issues

I ordered it from Amazon here in the U.S. for $11.99. Good choice. I have three of these. Two Oz. (60g) of hop pellets will fill about 75% of the volume when soaked. I sometimes use two hop bombs when I'm brewing a heavily hopped IPA. Also, I may need one for the second droid. An alternative to the hop bomb is the muslin bag. The Captain added a few stainless-steel ball bearings to assure that the hops stayed submerged. This is cheaper; just toss the whole bag when the brew is complete. Also, the bag - just like the hop bomb - must be sterilized before use. As far as missing some of the hop's exposure by confining them to a screened enclosure, I actually find little difference. You can always add a few extra pellets to compensate for this. 😀 Happy brewing.
