Leaking Keg Highlands IPA, drank at 10 days secondary.

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

never a dull moment brewing and kegging. Last week I kegged a batch of  Highlands IPA, one of the kegs unfortunately developed a leak. I am a little bit OCD inasmuch that when I store my kegs they have to look perfect, so I thought I'll just chuck out the dodgy keg with the slight leak; I then changed my mind and thought I'll just put it in the fridge then insert it in the Brewflo. Placed it in the fridge after only 9 days secondary fermentation then into the Flo today; thought it was going to be crap and was pleasantly surprised to find it eminently quaffable. Could be that beer always tastes better on a Sunday regardless, nonetheless very happy.

Cheers!

Anthony
