Wifi and registration

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys, so just got a 2nd hand brew Droid. Trying to set it up through wifi has been a pain.

It doesn't manually set up,but does connect via wps. So it's connected.

But I cant register it and link it to my account.

Where is the number of the Droid located?

It seemed so easy, but has turned out to be super difficult.

Hi Ash, welcome to the forum.

Firstly, the number is on the back as per the picture. The number under the bar code

Secondly, as it is second hand then the droid may already be registered so if that is the case and it won't let you register it, reach out to the brewart team via email info@brewart.com.au and they will sort it out quickly for you

G 'Day @Ash Fisher

That's great to hear you've picked up a BeerDroid. Welcome aboard.
If you've connected your BeerDroid via WPS your Wi-Fi and Globe symbol should both be solid. If they are, you've done the hard part, you just need to link your BeerDroid to your account.

The easiest way to do this is to make sure your phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi and go to:
BrewArt App > MENU > MY BEERDROID > LINK BEERDROID TO YOUR WI-FI > Give your BeerDroid a name, and enter the Serial Number > LINK BEERDROID.

That should sync your BeerDroid to your App.

If you're still struggling, contact us at tech@brewart.com and we'll help you out.

Cheers

How'd you get on? I got mine 2nd hand and had trouble getting it to connect wifi and found had to go the long way round via the handbook to get it to connect but got it in the end.
