Sam Armstrong
Hi artists, Apologies in advance for a dumb question. I'm guessing the answer is yes anyway, but... Do you need to sanitise new / unopened equipment, e.g. keg caps/ dispensing caps? They are 'fresh' but assuming all they are from a factory floor and they are still going to come into contact with beer they need sanitization? Thanks, Sam

Thanks, Sam Hi Sam, Yes you should clean sanitise these parts before first use. If you're using the Brewart Droid Cleanse tablets then you can put one of these and some water in a large pot and clean/sanitise the parts in there. The Brewart tablets are both a cleaner and a santiser. Otherwise I'd suggest the same method with some sodium percarbonate to clean the parts and then a spray of Starsan or Stellarsan to sanitise them prior to use.
