Could anyone tell me why a fermenting keg would start leaking?

Hi @Carl Anderson, do you mean that your BeerDroid is venting foam/beer from around the lid during brewing or that one of the BrewArt 5 litre plastic kegs is leaking whilst you are conditioning your completed brew?

The later, the keg is leaking whilst stored for fermentation  into the keg and surrounding cupboard. All was good for the initial 5 days, however when I opened the cupboard 3 days later I discovered the overflow.

I'm sorry to hear that. There's numerous reasons as to why that can occur and as such no one bit of guidance to give you as a solution. 

It may be nothing that you're doing.

I would suggest taking some photos and making contact with Brewart Support. They will help you out.
