Nathan Damaso
I haven’t found much in the way on a red IPA’s in the brewprints. I have found this liquid extract Recipe online for a clone of the bentspoke rednut ipa. In my option the original recipe is a top drop, so I’m wondering if it can be done using BrewArt ingredients? Also if any pre bittering editions would be required? https://www.newcastlebrewshop.com/products/rusty-nut-extract-can-recipe-kit 1 can Coopers Brew A IPA 1 can Morgans Master Malts Caramalt 250g Corn Syrup 20g each Mosaic, Citra & Amarillo hops 10g each Eldorado, Centennial, Chinook & Simcoe hops Safale US 05 Yeast
Rob Courtney
@BrewArt Team Obviously you love a challenge, how can this young man make a red IPA without resorting to cans?

BrewArt Team
Thanks @Rob Courtney, and G 'Day @Nathan Damaso. I don't mind a challenge. Thankfully Bentspoke have been generous with their information on their website. E2 E5 E5 E5 E5 X3 X3 Y1 They advertise FORTNIGHT, MOSAIC, CITRA, EAST KENT GOLDINGS, & AMARILLO, as their hops, but you can probably get away with just a few of them. Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo are the heavy hitters. 25g of each keeps it easy. Brewing Program: Propagate: 22°C, Ferment: 18°C, Keg: 18°C, Store: 4°C. Dry Hop: Yes This should get you: 7.5% ABV, 57 IBU, 40 EBC. Happy brewing!

Nathan Damaso
Not a bad drop at 3 weeks young. Very easy to drink. I will be interested to see how this beer matures over the next few months. I dry hopped this with Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo for this first brew. I think it needs another 25g of hops next time I brew it. So I might add the east Kent goldings. Drop a post if anyone else gives this beer a crack.
