This is a strong finishing pale ale with hops and citrus to the palate. If you enjoy bitter ales then this will suit. Flavour is strong in the malt, citrus and fruitiness department. An enjoyable ale.
Captain 3 Droids Posted March 24, 2020 Author Report Posted March 24, 2020 Enjoyed this last time so in the droid again today.

Captain 3 Droids Posted May 4, 2020 Author Report Posted May 4, 2020 5 weeks in, very refreshing. Now as an aside Rob has a “mystery box” where he stores various bottles of brews and has a surprise on opening. Well today I thought the keg that I cracked was English Bitter but alas it was Lord’s English Pale Ale. Label your kegs properly I say.
Rob Courtney Posted May 4, 2020 Report Posted May 4, 2020 I don't know if you have tried before but I was a real fan of beers like Fullers ESB and a couple of other English "ales" and I am wondering were this one sits, it is one of the "I will try next order" ales, it is something I thought of getting just because of Fullers ESB
Captain 3 Droids Posted May 4, 2020 Author Report Posted May 4, 2020 Haven’t tried a Fullers ESB but may buy one as the taste profile on the web suggests something similar I’ve tasted here. I enjoy the English ales of Brewprint, Midlands, Lord’s English PA, English Pub Draught, London’s Own Ale etc.
Rob Courtney Posted May 4, 2020 Report Posted May 4, 2020 Yeah, Fullers had everything going against it but I liked the look of the bottle, hadn't heard of it so thought "grab a few, what could go wrong?"
Captain 3 Droids Posted May 28, 2020 Author Report Posted May 28, 2020 Kegged the Lord’s today after 8 days fermentation. It’s a nice drop with Challenger hops.
Captain 3 Droids Posted June 22, 2020 Author Report Posted June 22, 2020 Just short of 4 weeks, very enjoyable drop. 1
Captain 3 Droids Posted December 20, 2021 Author Report Posted December 20, 2021 Can’t believe haven’t done this one for over a year. Well in the Droid today. 2
Robert Pretty Posted December 21, 2021 Report Posted December 21, 2021 @Captain 3 Droids you doing this with the liquid H7. Or dry hopping with 50g of challenger.

Captain 3 Droids Posted January 28, 2022 Author Report Posted January 28, 2022 Still enjoyable (note I’ve put the lights on) Some of the basic are just good to enjoy without dry hop experimentation. 1
Steve Gyldenvand Posted April 15, 2023 Report Posted April 15, 2023 Just shy of 6 weeks on this delightful ale, and I'm...well, delighted. Carbonation is excellent; first time trying Mangrove Jack's conditioning drops, and I'll absolutely be using them again. I did a pretty hard pour on this for the photo, and you can see the substantial head on it. Lace is good, and at only 6 weeks, this beer has a very mature quality to it. 1
