Rob Courtney
Anyone tried one? Have seen them online ( haven't checked postage) and it is aprox $50 for 20 litres of beer which is comparable to a brewprint. Just wondering if anyone has had a go at them or not and what were the thoughts? Easy to do, pain in the butt?
Captain 3 Droids
I did it once when Hoppy Days had a Fathers Day special of free delivery to anywhere in Aust. (they are in Qld, used courier, arrived 4 days ha ha). It was an Extra Citra IPA (all grain) and was great to be honest. It was before the Droids so brewed the lot in the usual plastic fermenter. Current problem is 1) freight (not cheap) 2) with the droids you’d need two free as not sure how you could safely store half the wort until one became available. It would be good to have one on hand for those times when in a hurry (or awaiting stock) Just pour in the droid, top up with water, yeast and off you go. Does the local brew shop stock any? Paul84
Local brew shop ... does Liquorland count ... @Rob Courtney saying your a town folk lol, sounds like a city luxury. I would say with the amount of homebrewers Hedland could use a shop lol
