Alan Batchelor
Hi All I have been brewing relentlessly with the BeerDriod but really miss the freshness of my Pico Brew. The system now seems defunct which is a shame because it made excellent wort. I think combining the Pico to create the wort and the Driod to ferment might have been a fantastic solution. Once I have completed my next 3 brews (Lawn Mover, Ruby Porter and Highlands IPA) I will experiment with manually brewing in the Pico. I have seen on line others have managed to create the wort manually, hopefully I can also with my own grains and muslin bags 🙂 Anyone else have experience with the Pico and if they have managed to manually brew? ~Alan Added a Pic of Bruv & me brewing with the Pico System which was pretty much the last time.. Now that’s a pair of trouble makers...😂. Don’t have any experience with the Pico however can’t see any reason why you can’t produce your own wort. Are there Pico recipes to follow, utube help etc. Cheers Mark
Captain 3 Droids
Correct me if I’m wrong but just looked up a PicoBrew recipe and it would seem all the info is there? Grain type & weight, the adjunct ingredients and temp settings etc. Worth a go gentlemen?
Alan Batchelor
Yes I think I can do. Was just hoping someone out there already did it. Reinvent the wheel and all. YouTube helps and I think that is a good start. Will let you know how it goes. alan
