Your going to end up like most of us here - the “what to brew next” mental syndrome. There are so many top recipes and as you go through them it’s “oh I must brew that again” until you realise there are not enough days in the year. Besides consumption I think is why I have 3 Droids 😃

Dustin Frothman
Kegged after work today. Gotta love working on a Sunday morning ... 😤 A plain old Coopers Pale Ale with some dry hopping goodness into Droid #1 to replace it. I've almost filled 100L of stainless steel kegs now so it's time to get drinking to make room for more. 1 1
Hambone
Just put this one down. Can't wait. Three brews down in quick succession and four more on order. Cheers

Dustin Frothman
Tried the taster bottle this afternoon at 23 days. It’s not too far off being ready. Dry hopped 40g each of Cascade and Simcoe. I’m not sure what happened the first time I brewed this but it took a while to come good. I’m expecting much more this time around. Looking forward to cracking the keg.

Dustin Frothman
I said I wouldn't post kegerator porn shots but it's been a long day and this was the easiest option ... I worked early this morning and then had my annual work medical this afternoon which other than requiring an attempt at being a good boy and manoeuvring around alcohol a little over the last month or so (short of a ridiculous blowout Friday night with a friend visiting from Dubai ... damn him and his Hilton Diamond membership and free drinks ... they have surprisingly good craft beers on tap at Hilton Adelaide!) and then the usual pee in a cup, ECG, blood pressure, take off your pants fun and games; I had to dodge a massive storm cell that hit the Western burbs as I was driving home from the old Holden building in Elizabeth where my doctor is. So another year done. Legal to keep working for another 12 months. The renewals just get more difficult from herein. Wife went to the gym so I'm having a beer. I must have got something wrong with this recipe last time because on paper this is my kind of ale. Hoppy and bitter. 40g each of Cascade and Simcoe, then 8 weeks maturing. Excellent! Up at 0330 for work tomorrow so sadly only 1 more then bed. 2

Oh that’s part of your medical, silly me 😁😁😁😁 Ps congratulations on passing your medical

Dustin Frothman
The cat and I are still really enjoying this beer. I think it may have even improved a little whilst it’s been sitting on tap. Will brew this one again. 2

Gillies Brewing
I tried to post when I put this brew on but the post wouldn't go through. I chucked this one through after a bit of a break from the brewing. I don't really like the big bitter resin taste of simcoe so I reduced the amount to 10g and substituted with citra (25g cascade 10g simcoe 15g citra) to lean into the grapefruit and make it a little less bitter. Tasted lovely when bottling! 1
Gillies Brewing
Beautiful taster the other day just as it clocked over 2 weeks secondary. Butter enough to taste like a proper IPA but not knock your socks off bitter. Definitely some citrus character. Pours great. 1
Andy Simma
Very solid pale ale. Drinking well just on 2 weeks. 3
