Last one of the night. Just finished watching Mortal Kombat...my advice would be that you won't miss anything if you don't.

Onto the beer though, not too shabby, not at all, still 6 weeks in so more time to improve

What did you hop this one with?
(Mortal Kombat, don’t watch it sober as you may remember it 😁)

This is what I like about brewing my own beer, having a few different beers on a Friday night, working them to a schedule where they compliment one another.

The desert beer, if you will, a Sessions Ale at 9ish, maybe 10 weeks, drinking very well

I've started drinking the Session/Pacific Pale Ale off tap at the pub when I can't afford to have too many.

Really impressed with just how fragrant and flavoursome this beer is for 4.2% alcohol.

Hi pacificers, just jumping on to this thread as I have completed this as my first brew. As I've said in another thread, many thanks to the people on here for advice and tips for all droid related matters. As for the beer....

Only had after 2 and a bit weeks secondary in the bottle so not expecting great things yet. Very happy though with colour, head, aroma but the taste is still a bit wanting, not much of a back end Tatar and a bit lager-y at the moment for my liking. I note lots of other suggestions have made a point of holding off until at least 4 weeks. One of the FB groups also recommend adding a few other hops in.

What's everyone's thoughts on additions?PXL_20220103_095905337.PORTRAIT.thumb.jpg.64e02260f7ab48737267f29b7816043d.jpg

Best advice and results I’ve gotten was to get more droids and let them sit.   Look at those secondary times.   Now everything I pour is just really good.
8 weeks minimum for the bigger beers.

I DO agree though on the pacific.   There was something lacking.  It sure if it was no bitter finish or mouthfeel.  Couldn’t put my finger on it.

Definately wasn’t Tatar ! 🤭

Impressive @J P

I reckon @Wazza_wantsbeer might break into a cold sweat seeing that.

It smells really nice it drinks even better, that is bang on as a copy of the drink now. I've had some nice beers tonight and this still stands out. I know I am a fair old Lager drinker and i have gone through most of the ales but this and the XPA might be the ones I stick with on the "dark side" as regulars through the year
